E-CO Energi Holding AS signs a NOK 1,500,000,000 multi-currency revolving credit facility


On 7th July 2016, E-CO Energi Holding AS ("E-CO Energi" or the "Company") entered into a NOK 1,500,000,000 multi-currency revolving credit facility (the "Facility"). The Facility has a tenor of 5 years including two one-year extension options.

DNB and SEB acted as Coordinators and Bookrunners. DNB is the Facility Agent. Barclays Bank, Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ) and Swedbank AB (publ) joined as Mandated Lead Arrangers.

The Facility will replace the Company's NOK 2,000,000,000 revolving credit facility dated 11 July 2011 and will be used for general corporate purposes. The Facility was well received by the bank market, which resulted in a substantial oversubscription in excess of NOK 2,000,000,000. 

Following the syndication, the Company, chose to close the transaction with a facility amount of NOK 1,500,000,000. The final facility amount was based on management?s analysis of

E-CO Energi?s debt capital structure and liquidity requirements going forward.

E-CO Energi is Norway's second largest producer of hydroelectricity. Its core activities are the ownership and management of hydropower plants and development of new renewable power projects. The City of Oslo owns 100 % of E-CO Energi Holding AS.
